Considering Jenny Demjanenko had tapered for the district meet a week earlier, she was hoping to merely equal her team-record time of 1 minute, 54.34 seconds in the 200-yard freestyle in the Division I state meet, which began Feb. 24 and concluded last Saturday at Canton's C.T. Branin Natatorium.
