My 6th grade son went to public school from K-4th. His grades were awful. Now that he's here his grades have sky-rocketed. Not because it is easy but because his teachers are just excited as he is ( to teach him as well as him to learn). I feel that as long as the children are learning, producing great grades, enjoying school and in a well disciplined environment it would be foolish for us to go be somewhere else.”

Mr. Banks is a wonderful man and i think if your child does not get the chance to go to sonshine they are missing out on alot. It is like one big family there and i just pray that the lord will keep on blessing them because mrs. Jackson dream is very much alive rather there is 2 students in a class or 30 it still is sonshine and we just think god for all those teacher that work almost a whole year without pay i mean no paycheck at all but god wanted sonshine to stay open and they did so it must not be to bad it is still open. “My daughter attended Sonshine Chritian Academy this year. She was in Pre-Kindergarten. for the most part I was very pleased with the emphasis on academics even at this early age. Although I felt my daughter should have gone on more fields trips to afford them some exposure to the outside world.”

“While my child was smaller it was a great school because Deborah Jackson was the president. However, now Mrs. Jackson (the founder) has died and I do not believe that the principle they have in charge now shares that same dream. The enrollment went way down. There are only 10 kids in my daughters 8th grade class. My daughter even tells me that they have no heat. I am not happy with the services, they need to keep up with Mrs. Jackson's vision.”
