Visit the amphitheatre to watch a film in the park with the whole community or listen to sweet melodies during the summer concert series. Children can join the football team or lacrosse tournament to activate body and mind while you can participate in a golf tournament on the golf course or put green at Pickerington Country Club.
If you prefer to sit and stay, Pickerington Ponds offers a 418-hectare wildlife reserve with a viewing platform overlooking the water from which you can soak up the sights, sounds and smells of a peaceful retreat. Take a walk along the paths and enjoy the outdoors with family members or picnic at the picnic table on the sunbathing lawn.
For all active souls, there is a 16-mile bike path that runs through three different Ohio Metro parks. This road, especially when you pass it on Interstate 70, is one of my favorite stretches in Ohio.
If you are willing to skip this section of the Scioto Greenway, the western section should be the right one to drop you off.
On the west bank of the Scioto River, you will cross the town of Pickerington and have access to the Ohio State University campus and the University of Ohio campus. Pickeredton is also home to a motorcycle hangar located at 13515 Yarmouth Dr. near Interstate 70.
Cats and dogs are allowed in Victory Park as long as they are kept on a leash, which makes for the perfect companion to get in touch with the inner animal. Victory Park offers a variety of activities for children of all ages, whether it is children under 5 years, adults or adults with children. The course is also ideal for younger guests, as it promises to be one of the most beautiful parks in Pickerington with a wide range of outdoor activities.
Pfeffer said the family regularly visits Sycamore Creek Park and Pickerington Ponds to stay at home. As well as splashing around in the creek, the girls enjoy being outside and drawing wildlife. The jury is not yet sure how much fun they had on their first trip to the park, but the number of people using the envelope seems to keep the recommended social distance between children and animals to a minimum.
You can specify a minimum and maximum distance of 999 miles and change the range to any number above that. For example, if you want to get to a town or city 40 miles east of Pickerington, filter by city, city, county, or state.
We hope that you will find as much satisfaction in this pure, unpolluted space as we do, but we are simply satisfied. It is located in Pickerington Pond, making it a great place for a picnic, a walk or even a bike ride. This section of the Scioto Greenway on both sides of the river is definitely worth a visit and the residents pay a lot of money for it. The added bonus is the icing on the cake, as the park is really full to the gills with amenities.
Take Pickerington Ponds Metro Park and take your furry family members across the road to Violet Park on Scioto River Greenway. When you reach Front Street and the brewery district, the path leads through the brewery district and then back to the river. After the bridge, circle it and back and follow the paths along the Scioto until it passes the sports fields of the Berlin park.
Guests can enjoy a snack at one of the many restaurants in the area, such as St. John's Pizza, or enjoy the many shops in the area. Get off at Easton Town Center and quickly change onto the Glen Glen Express and head south on Main Street to the West Side Express.
Grab your club at Blacklick Woods Golf Course, rated by Business First Magazine as one of the best golf courses in Ohio and the second best in Ohio State. There are six holes for the whole family and you can expect a large group of friends and family to enjoy the festivities in the rain or sunshine. The course will take you through the branches, so expect plenty of green space and a wide variety of options so you and your friends or family can comfortably join in the celebration, rain or shine.
